My pets ( horse, cats, dog) are pretty much 'valuable' to me- i have nothing materialistic that id say is treasured.

photos for memory sake are my favourite thing to have though.

I'm sorry but how your niece is your posession is kind of beyond me

I have a lovely little niece who I absolutely love the bones of but she aint in any way mine

She spends more time with me than my sister
