I haven't read through all the posts so i don't know what everyone elses views are, but...

I normally love LMs cos they seem to suit every car, but nowadays they seem like such an obvious choice.
If you have no immagination, or no balls to be different, you get LMs. I'm getting bored of them now.
I know that almost sacrilegious, but they really have been done to death now.

People aren't in a competition to be unique, show how big their balls are or how imaginative they are when putting on a different set of wheels their car.

It's almost as ridiculous as calling them common.

They are, that's the problem.

You end up with people suggesting Mercedes wheels on an Astra van, Bentley wheels on a VW Passat, Boyd Coddington billets on a Corrado, Corvette wheels on a Bora.

I can't believe people are calling LMs common either

Why no imagination? What would you recommend that would be revolutionary? Its an Audi, its hardly some exotic super car that can justify ridiculous amounts spent on wheels. I could have got S-line TT wheels, which are on every VAG car imagionable now, same with RS6 wheels. All other aftermarket wheels look god awful. So for £500 I'm pretty happy, plus like I have said I have never seen a car on the road with LM's on, get out the house look around instead of just car forums and I can guarantee you won't see many either.

At the end of the day, VAG modifiers seem to think they are the be all and end all and everything has to be unique and you cannot copy anyones idea's. Personally its a load of bullshit, do what you want and what you think suits.

PS they aren't even LM's really.

i love the comment when people say xe's are too common so ill go through the ball ache of swopping engines to a less superior one with no gains less power etc whatsoever just so i can be "different" makes you more "special" than different tbh

Morons basically. Fundamentally flawed thinking, you don't buy a corsa to be unique.
