There will be some sort of tent/arena type thing in the actual campsite that'll play tunes until daft o clock. Failing that you go back to the tent and make use of your new vodafone branded condoms.

I can well believe it. It can limit your freedom completely. My advice would be to eat as well as you can, ie. not the same thing every day. Well cooked, good quality meat is OK if you can get it, as is bread, pasta and rice. Fatty or fried meat is not ideal.
If you do start to suffer with it, you should drink lots of water. Particularly if you are drinking alcohol, diarrhoea will dehydrate you very quickly and this can mean you will see other symptoms such as fatigue and dizzyness.
Have fun!

I would recomend early morning-- they usually change them over first thing in the morning while evryone is asleep.... and its quiter so you can have a look inside them all first before you take the plunge so to speak.
At tea in the park I got lucky and managed to be the first person in a new bog two days running- made the festival for me.
At Reading festival I didnt get so lucky and ended up being sick and taking a dump at the same time-- fely even more sorry for the guy following me in there.

tbh I don't think I'd do a festival due to the lack of toilets etc. Like my home comforts too much and enjoying a good shit with some reading material

walk to the nearest town and use a pub loo? Might be your only opportunity for a proper beer as well.
