my mum works and she has kids, i'm entitled to my opinion 
i wouldn't care how old you were, age has nothing to do with it

how old are you mums kids tho, my youngest is 21 months and needs looking after, if i went to work i would have to pay for child care and it wouldnt be worth it because after i had payed for that i wouldnt have anything left, then there is my daughter that goes to school at 8.45 then my son that goes at 12.30 then i have to pick them up at 3.00, so please tell me how i would be able to go to work?

seriously though, having kids has nothing to do with it. you can still work regardless of them, it may be selfish not being there when they're young but if you need the money to enjoy a decent life, then it's worth it

You can get child support benefits, tax breaks and a few other things too if you are working. You should be claiming them if you are entitled to them, they are there for a reason.
