just read the entire thread an agree with pow, at the end of the day yeah its harsh and he could have been nicer, but lets face it if he hadnt of sed anything then you could have been pulled for something else as well as that and then 6 points in first 2 years.......... just take it as a lesson and learn from it, im sure all of us on here have had a shit time with the police but at the end of the day its their job to up hold the law, shit i know but its true. I got pulled for my headlights, then i had a barely legal tire, and had tints, the police officer told me that if i corrected the faults within 7 days and produced a valid mot cert then it will be forgotten about. As it was my tire was legal so was forced to give me 3 points an 60 fine, but at the end of the day i coulda ended up with 9-12 points, it also made me take alot more notice of keeping my car maintaned an road legal. Tbh he probly done me a favour. Take it on the chin mate, cause court will only find another excuse to issue the penalty.

Thanks all, im not putting this on here to bring you all down or "attack" other members at all.

I put this on here for a warning to you all, i want to protect you as i feel its my duty to as afterall we are all members of the same forum which shows we all have something in common.

I have just have alot of shit in my life recently, too much to explain on here but trust me, its beyond belief!

I have larnt some valuable tips on this thread and will use them in my defence to get this sorted.

Like i said, its not so much what i was done for. Its the way one of the officers treated me. Saying he saw me on my phone whilst driving when i was not. It could happen to any of you.

I got pulled for being on my phone when I wasn't. I even let the copper search my car because I didn't even have a phone on me. Obviously he didn't find one then started accusing me of hiding it Goes without saying that he didn't apologise, but I had the last laugh, har har.

at nova with his contest it comment, what a surprise.

I don't care about your incident back in jan, your first post didn't have all the facts, you were in the wrong, that's not being victimised, it's needing to grow up a bit.

Why contest it when it looks 99% that he was in the wrong though.

As I said before, it's funny how it's always 17 year olds just sitting about doing no harm to anyone that the police 'victimise', and the fact he didn't tell the full story and is also up in court for a gbh charge that also was no fault of his own

Why contest it?

People on here make me laugh,id contest anything if i know its worth contesting.

My mates a police officer he gives out advice on sw-cc and he even says that half of officers arent trained on how to use them and half of machines arent calibrated correctly..

I should hop aboard the bandwagon less agro then.

It's always a difficult subject area when the police are involved... I was told to "kiss ass" and by a mate of mine who is a PCSO (Police Commnity Support Officer)

When I had a problem with my car tax last year....

It sounds like that officer just made a 'cock up' and didn't want to look a nob so just tried to do you for something!

Tints on the front window arent illegal, they just have to let through 75%.

and if the officer doesnt know how to use a machine or if its not set up properly thats more than enough grounds to contest it.

Oh and its monday

They will have been illegal, nove_gteuk just likes to go against the grain and be different.

Also seems to know alot of criminals which is why he keeps coming out with techniques on how to cheat the system

Technically what nova is saying is true, but typically any tints will be illegal.

I know how to "cheat the system" as you say because theres a police officer on a forum i use who helps people out with car realted issues.

Even though any solicitor would tell you the same.

my mate has light smoke tints on his polo, police say theyre to dark, yet the machine they use says diffrent.
