bit harsh classing it as section 20. i got hit round the head with a lump of concrete off a lad who has previous abh charges and they classed it as 47. actually you probably deserve a 20. he just got off lightly.

I bet your the type to sit and let your mate get leathered when you could easily help.

Joe - Wouldnt worry mate, First offences usually get nothing more than a fine if even that.

Good luck.

Yes... thats why i m a doorman... TIT!

Your mate gave him a shoeing and when he was finished you went over and slapped him about... why? what does that achieve? apart from get you arrested!
Takes a big man to kick a man when he's down, deserve what you get tbh. doubt you ll get much tbh, slap on the wrist and fine!

Doormen are worse... how do you quantify that statement then?

Some doormen yes, some not... just like the general public who come to a venue!

His mate had obviously delt with it and stopped and taken a step back... then he jumps in... hows that sticking up? Cheap shot if you ask me.

and this is the attitude that is slowly destroying this country little people wanting to be something by showing how hard they are. so in that situation your telling me you woud have gone to town on the guy? even though matee had already delt with it...

you obv billy big nuts arent you... if you got a problem with someone take them outside 1 on 1. That's where things get sorted, none of this, you hit me and 6 of my mates will mess you up cos i m too much of a fanny to deal with it myself!

Yes because trying to glass him is fair,if in that situation it was just fists id of left them at it then separeted them. but seeing as glass was involved which could potentially kill somone its diffrent imo.

I never get in fights myself because everyone knows my cousins and theyre all to scared off them and the fact one of my best mates is tobias webb...enzo macrenellis nephew..,its been that way since i was a kid,i dont boast i have big hard cousins or mates id rather sort things myself but if my mates are in trouble id be on hand to help.

Thats what true freinship is about helping out one another.

Eye for an eye and the whole world goes blind.

If this other guy started it by chucking a bottle then good on you mate, as nova_gte said, it could have really injured or killed someone so he needed to be dealt with.

so its just a punch up in a pub, nothing serious, happens every weekend in every city in the country.

years back when I was young and silly we got into punch-ups, If no serious wounding was caused by you I can just see you getting a slap on the wrist and court costs.

what was the actual offence you are charged with?

Jesus some people think everything is so fucking black and white on here all perfect are we?

I'm pretty sure most of us have stuck there necks out for a mate in the past. I used to get in rucks all the time on nights out. The sad truth is that some nobs go out looking for fights and you have no chance of diffusing the situation without fisty cuffs.

How are you pleading?

first thing you need to remember is not not kick off or be rude at court! just be polite and agree with whatever they say, if it serious enough they will let it go to crown court... you need to make ure your story is as honest and clear as possible, dont add any new comments or add bits to the story! but doubt they would question it al at the magistrates anyway, probably go in say your name etc and it may go higher as said before....
