er? what do you mean? my home is really rural, surrounded by fields, woods, parks etc.

I don't actually live in slough by the way. I live above it about 5-10 miles, but no one knows where that is.

Woburn woods, near Milton Keynes

oh right sorry, mis understood you thought you were saying 'it sounded like a place you know, but doubted it'd be anything like it due to where I live (being urban) ...

Ah yeh I knew it wasn't woburn woods, it's called 'Burnham Beaches'.

Far from it Mr Simes. We're on our way back home now. Feeling more than shattered!

It has been fantastic! Didn't come off once. Was good as the bike i used, the rear brakes weren't working. That was fun in places. Taken a few more pics.

Ive just got back from my evening ride around the local trails. Its more XC than anything but has some steep descents and very steep climbs which are absolutely killer. few pics

Im the same as stevie, I dont wear a helmet which I know is controversial on here, always wear one on my motocrosser but thats a lot faster than a bit of pushbiking.

The last time i attempted to go down a steep hill on a mountain bike i woke up in hospital. It was more like a drop off than an hill and i was never the most confident, since that i've avoided hills.

Dunno, few times was with my Bro and Dad, another time with my mate and once with the Yorvik bike club. Was out of my depth that day! Made my £1000 bike (at the time) look like an £80 Halfords special!! They also showed no fear flying down hillsides surrounded by trees, there was also a long hipe pipe shaped hole in the middle of the forest full of tree roots that some went through.

I know I want to, it's more that I can't afford to

The bike I've got atm is probably about 7 years old now, too big really, stupidly heavy and I just can't be bothered with it. It was my brother's until I broke my old one so I claimed his I'm also seriously unfit too

MY bike is 9 years old. I could have used that but it wouldn't have been as smooth.

I think that because i am so light that i can make any bike ride well over any course (with in reason). However one of my mates bike was £1k and i can ride better than him. He is a wimp though

I love how they rate trails. All of the red routes round here are easy as piss and only a couple of the black ones are hard
