I couldn't GAF to be honest, although I really don't see the appeal.
A few people who work for me smoke it and walk round like extra's from Shaun of the Dead, are generally lazy and fucking unreliable. Lots of people(usually other users) try to say it does no harm, but as somebody who never has or will do the stuff the effects are obvious to me.

All I know is, most of the lads who work for me will go for a drink fri/sat/sun, on Monday they are right as rain and ready to work. Then you have the others who smoke that shit can barely peel their eyes open for hours, or just don't turn up at all.

I loved being stoned when i first started smoking it. I loved the smell and the taste. I even used to chew on the stalks sometimes.
Just to clarify, i'm talking about grass, not resin/hash.
I used to sell it, so i never really paid for any of my smoke and i could afford to smoke 10(ish) joints a day. After a while it just became a habbit, a major part of my life. I'd wake up and roll a joint. I'd have my breakfast and roll a joint. Do whatever i had planned for the day, but with several joint breaks.
In the end, i couldn't get to sleep if i hadn't smoked a joint.
Eventually, i noticed i wasn't even getting stoned on it, but i still depended on it. Not physically, but mentally. I was lost if i didn't have a smoke.
After 5-6 years, i noticed it was taking its toll on my mental health so i decided to stop for good, and i've been off it for 5 months now.

Quite right, I'm just saying, without predjudice, that the lads who work for me who have a smoke are generally lazy and lack any motivation.

Dan I take in what your saying. But, from my point of view, both are mind altering substances. Both affect tthe nervous system and have different after morning effects.
Why one is legal and one isn't, I aint' a clue.

From what ive seen of cannabis though its like BluKoo says. People tend to smoke it alot more regularly that those who drink alcohol. Fair enough one night on the beer and one night smoking, the beer drinkers will be affected more and probably cause more trouble etc.
But people tend to start depending on cannabis quicker than those who drink alcohol.
(The above is base solely on what ive seen first hand and my opinion)

Why do they go most days to buy cannabis tho rather than just have a fag?

Totally agree, I'm not looking from a legal point of view as I don't care either way tbh. I'm just commenting on the physical characteristics and mental outlook of those I know who drink a lot and those who smoke regularly. Drinkers seem to work hard, more sociable, fat(:lol etc, whereas the smokers are inward, err vacant and lazy.

Not all smokers are vacant and lazy,my brother started in tesco as trolley pusher and hes now a customner service manager in the neath store,im not bigging him up because hes my brother, but he does work hard.
People who drink take more time off to get over theyre hangover,or if they turn up are pretty lazy due to feeling "ill".

the governemnt are cluelss to what is going on in this world.
i will continue to purchase my pot as i did when it was a class C and when it was a class B ages ago.
makes fuck all difference having a letter in front of it, it does fuck all to slow down the drug trade.
if anything it will now rise, due to dealers being able to charge more money for pot, now making it a worthy buisness venture to go.
to people who say it fucks u up please GTF.
i used to smoke it a good 5 years straight, all day every day. i have now cut down due to fitness levels need to be high, other than that there has not been one problem with me, (and all my mates who do it)
