124mph in a Lupo
Lupo Gti easy.... well after a while
On his clocks he'll have been well over that! he'll have been seeing 135 ish on the clocks!!
So yes, I'd imagine that guy driving the lupo had it FLAT OUT - max he could get out of it when he saw the copper ...
Personally, If I was caught doing that speed and the copper was stationary at the point of getting me with laser, I'd just keep it nailed down, come off at next junciton and park up in a estate and leg it
at 130ish mph, in the time it'd take the copper to start moving and get up to speed, you'll have covered a few miles! even if they do 130 - they won't catch up, if they do 140 they'll only start gaining on you VERY slowly, infact say you're 2-3 miles ahead, it'll take them about 15 mins or so to catch you up at that speed...
By which time you may be well and truely off at the next junction, parked up and legged it into a maccyd's or something!
Although if they have your plate, it's a different story.

Legging it.
I was doing 100+ and saw a copper go over an over pass with his lights on. I thought he was coming down to get me so i kept my foot in it and came off. I parked up for an hour

I don't think they got his plate until they caught him up. I know what you're saying about speed and distance but I guess it comes down to how much fuel the lupo has left

To be honest, out of the possible emotional states you could be... I think the coppers more likely to write a nice statement for you if you look geniunely sorry / upset you've been caught...
than if you act like you don't care or sit there laughing like these two

In some cases yes.
However, in a situation like that, i think the copper will be trained to give the same punishment weather if its to come young chav or a hot 19 year old with massive tits and wanted to suck the coppers cock
Edit - agian to what Paul said. You badgers are writing too much too quickly
