Fuel & servicing would double. All depends on how many miles you do really.

Against running costs of the likes of an Astra GSi or Golf GTi id expect double - tyres, fuel, servicing, repairs, ins etc

It is an ex 60k car after all!!

tyres aint too bad, neither are non big services, if u go to a main dealer expect to pay circa £3k to replace a vanos. But if u use a specialist or mechanic mate (im lucky to have a few!) then a vanos would cost u £1k. Parts are dear with the m logo stamped on them aparently! At the end of the day as colin said £40k+ new will be dearer to run than your average corsa but thats a given.

I dont do many miles so is ideal for me
