Anyway Daniel, if I was you I'd do the following.
Wait for the two features to hit the shops, drive the car all summer and enjoy the fresh bodywork and slave labour, go to all the shows and get loads of coverage, maybe even take it on a track day with weekend racer?
then at the end of the show season/summer, split it for all the parts you can get to fund your new toy, I wouldnt want someone driving around my pride and joy plus more money in splitting these days.

See as its a bit showy your only going to apeal to yhe younger generation where insuring the XE is going to be hard. So if your lucky I would say 3kish maybe get some ££ back by ripping out some of the ICE.
See if it was more track orientated you'd get a bit more as it would be impossible to build one to a decent spec sub 3k hence why i got 3.5k for mine two years ago and that was down to the spec of the engine 4 pots etc.
As mentioned before you just need to find the right buyer and be prepared to wait for them.

Mines went for £3500 in the end i think but took absolutely ages to find the right buyer! Just hold out for the right buyer if you dont want to split it. Lots of people said i'd never get what i wanted but i did. Would be a shame to see it get split.
