I dont think Skoda would sell as many cars if they wernt part of VAG, thats what I meant, most people who are on here ( and by that I mean have an interest for cars ) wouldnt buy them

got an octavia tdi nice and comfy done 50k never had a problem i assume its the same engine as the fabia vrs

I work for Skoda and drive these all day long...

Diesel Octavia VRS is a great motor! Albeit not as outright quick as the petrol but it's dosn't drink fuel and they handle and drive very well.

The Superb V6 diesel is also a rapid car but maybe when you get to 50

A jabbasport mapped one at the pod was getting 15.8 all day long so a standard one doing a 15.5 really? maybe if its crail or Avon Park I guess?

Before you rip me apart i've driven a few really hard and I am still considering one for my daily drive.


Sorry, you miss read my post.... Mines Remapped and did a 15.5 Not sure what a standard one does.

The MK1 Octavia RS is nicer looking IMO.

Especially the limited edition version.

seen a plain white one for sale on autotrader, was an ex-police car in advert, never knew they made white ones
