Integra owners round your way clearly cant drive. A car made from half a mk3 golf and half a mk3 polo will not handle, put it on rails it will still come off. As Fad said mine was on coilovers and ambulances and fire engines would outhandle me

If you find an integra, look out for high milers, often have big problems with burning oil.

You will find any high reving car will use oil, Honda's Alfa's and even my Clio used a fair bit and thats only just done 33k miles.

Its no hardship though as its nowhere near as insance as the oil consumtion of some x16xes or c20xe's I have seen.

Teg all day long. Wouldn't even think twice.

Sure u'll miss the surge of power from a turbo, so the Ibiza will feel faster, but when the Ibiza runs out of puff at about 6k, the teg is coming into its own.

Torque is in gear, i.e rolling from 50mph in 5th, the ibiza will be faster. But a teg isn't meant to do that, knock it into the right gear, and byyyeeeeeeeeeee......

Teg is proven on the track. Thats why some racers are still using 06 shells in 08 season!!!!!!!

And if you want to turn it into a straightliner, theres plenty of big hp kits available from the USA, and with the $ per £ at the moment, works out quite cheap.

But the Ibiza will be quicker for daily driving, but the teg will be far mor fun, far more sure footed, take more abuse on a track day, less things to go wrong, and will get nods from people who know what they are and what they can do.

Teg ALLLLLLL day long. Sell the Ibiza. If i had a spare bit of cash to spunk on one, i'd have one instantly.

THe harder question is, DC2 (the better handler) or DC5 (the better looker).

Dribble.

Ah yeah, being 20, you WILL get shafted on a teg for insurance. Quite a hight group.

Ok, maybe a little over 6k, but not 8500rpm like the teg.

I like high revving NA's also If you handn't of guessed. BRWWAAAAARRRRRRR PA PA PA POP BWRAARRRRRR

Keep the Ibiza mate, The ITRs are very overated the DC2s aint that quick at all and you need to revs the nads of them to get the best out of them which aint my thing. Fair enough the honda will handle better as standard but with a few pounds spent on the handling on the ibiza then you should have no probs being quicker than a teg

Aye, but spend that money on the teg, and it'll be even better.

Horses for courses. Speeds will actually be the same, its just a smooth delivery of a NA engine over a sudden turbo surge which feels faster.

Its a bit like an IL4 bike, out of the revs, it'll suck. IN the revs, adios all (Well, as much as a NA 2.0 16v can do anyway ).

That is the best one yet

so ou telling me a stock Ibiza can run a 14.7-14.8 standing quarter? I think not

Some people really need to wake up and smell the coffee.

Buy a car you dont have to spend money on it to make it 'acceptable' its the way forwards

You will pick up a cupra for as little as £4k now and spend £500 on it that will take it upto 190+bhp which in turn will probably see the cupra run high 14s no problems

I take it your a vehicle techy of some sort as your seem to know fukin everything about every car someone mentions on here

My point is no matter how much money you throw at a Cupra its never going to be as good as an Integra with the same money spent on it. (or even a standard teggy)

And for this instance I am going to take the words of real driving enthusiats such as Evo Car magazine and the majority of motoring press over your view this time.

I personally can't see the teg being much slower (if at all) than the ibiza currently... and the teg will out handle the ibiza now and will still out handle the ibiza if it had loads of money thrown at it!

The Jap Series Motoring International had 2 integra dc2's do the 1/4 mile in 14.2 secs!!!

that's rapid.

It's not about straight line either with the teg, it handles amazingly.

As said by Rob R ibiza's are over rated, yes you can get lots of power out of them, but they don't launch very well, are heavy and don't handle that way.

My mate had one remapped to 240 bhp and it still wasn't that amazing.

1/4 mile of the standard dc2's at the end of this vid!

14.2's... so 14.7-14.8 from the ibiza? erm, teg wins
