8 weeks birthday to test. I knew how to drive, I just had to calm down a bit
Was a Grade 1 at car club, means I used to spend most of the day hoooning around in what I could get my hands on

I dread to think how long it will take me
I took 10 lessons last year, and hated it. I was a nervous wreck and gave up
Just started last Sunday again with a different driving school, I got on ok and for the 1st time I'm not dreading my next lesson this Sunday

I've got a lesson tomorrow. Probably had about 10 hours so far but tomorrow will be my 4th instructor. Had 1 instructor who was a twat so gave up for a bit, then had another but had to give up 'cause I couldn't afford it and then the last one retired and I never got back round to starting again.
The 10 hours I've had have been spread over about 6 years though

You were/are rich then - I knew someone that used to do that. The King family, particularly Sarah King?! Fit. Was at school with her.

I actually also went to school with a Sara King (Sara was pronounced Sarah).
Anyway, back on topic, booked my test up on 16 hours but was a long wait..so ended up doing a little over 30 hours..I didn't need so many but getting experience helps a lot!
Passed first time with 1 minor and passed my theory first time with a not bad score.

My dad taught me to drive in a Nova I bought for £50! Took me 3 months to pass, but I had a 2 month wait for my test.
