Most callipers take anything - just need to be weary of the mount on your forks, might need an adaptor

Pretty much soaked through anyway - if there were bike washing facilities, would just stand there in clothes and hose ourselves down too.

alright lads.
i used to be into bmx mtb years ago.
i've built bikes in the past but atm i've got a cheap-ish full sus that needs a bit of work as its been sitting in my garage for a few years.
im going to get back into biking, it probably wont be the hardcore dirt i used to ride but still i'd like to buy some better parts.
now it brings me to my first question, do all mtb/full sus have the same size pedals? if i was to buy a set of DMR v8's for example would the thread be the correct size for my standard shimano 3 piece crank?
and whats the going pricves for a set of chunky 26" tyres these days?

Front brake upgrade....
check

Took a pretty big slam today. Going down a decent on gravel with hail pouring down. Jumped onto a rock formation and tyre slipped on the wet slate. Slammed me into the rocks
Bit of blood but nothing broken
