firstly, no
secondly, certificates mean fuck all, just because its kennel club registered, doesnt mean its a good dog, could be nervous, have issues.
thirdly, you think by locking a dog in a crate over night will be bad for it

your obviously not ready to own such a dog, will mean it will take over the household, end up in a rescue kennel, where it wont be adopted because who wants a huge dog from a kennel where its obviously been a naughty bastard, so it will be destroyed, so dont get the fuckin dog

Rubbish.

Our dog is a pet, but if anyone tried to harm any of us or went to attack us it would go crazy.

thats completely natural and part of the bonding between pet and owners...

A gaurd dog is something which is designed to take down intruders and be threatening by nature
again, proving you know fuck all about dogs.

pitbulls are not registered with the uk kennel club as they are a banned breed.

pitbulls are very people oriantated love people. But who ever bred them is wrong, and should not be breeding them at all they are BANNED are people to thick to understand that or is it just to make them think they are rock hard cos they own and breed pitbulls

i dont think pitbulls will go to rescue kennels, as they can not be rehomed as they ARE a banned breed.

I have a staff (3/4) pit (1/4) cross. It is with my kids throughout the day, never left alone. And locked downstairs at night.

She is a lovely dog, never been aggressive to anyone or any other dog and listens to commands always. It makes me sick people who own dogs like these and train them to bark at people or to growl and get there teeth out. You see it all the time nowadays when 'chavs' get hold of these dogs.

My dog is brought up in a loving and respectful family enviroment, but I would never leave her alone with the kids. And if she ever showed any aggression to anyone or anything, she would be out.

but still your dog is still a banned breed. any dog that is known to be a full pitbull or dog mixed with a pitbull is BANNED.

Patrick is your dog muzzled in public?
is your dog registered with your police?
is your dog insured?
is your dog tattoed, mircrochip?

No is the answer to all of those. But I consider myself to be a responsible owner which I feel is more important than all of the above.

Also, I have no proof that my dog is in fact 3/4 staff 1/4 pit, just hear say. It looks full bred staff to me.

you got pic???

not saying you are not responsible but you would be even more responsible if you did them things as that is what you have to do if you hold a DDA dog.

The dog will be a pet and also a guard dog at work, but will sleep at home

I totally agree with the above, which is why they should always be supervised. But if you look at the owners of 99% of dog attacks, they will be bad owners.
