My mate had 1 of these inblack,was ok for 1st few days now its started making his sport run wierd.pissing oil everywhere in the engine bay.and that was fitted by a garage

There somthing wrong with your mates sport then.
The boxes do not touch the oil system apart from a breather hose.
Also these boxes are simple to fit and should not have to be done by a garage

mark this is because people dont fit them properly and dont fit oil breather tanks in them which you should fit,

no i fitted it, and he hasnt used a breather for the oil so the breather to the head will leak and plus hes took his engine cover off so the oil cap isnt tight to the rocker,

Would there Much point on putting this on my standard 1.4 Sport with no exhaust or engine mod of any kind?

Its the best start assuming you will do the other breathing mods filter and exhaust later then this will enhance them as well

isnt it dodgy fiiting mild steel parts to the inlet side? what happens when rust forms and goes in the engine?

they sell the exact same ones on ebay for 185 they gain 22bhp and look a bit tidier

So £55 on a slightly neater finish or £55 towards your next mod
