Ended up sitting back in my car and made sure I had my breaker bar handy
As soon as I found out I wasn't getting my bonnet, I was straight out of there

Yeah, decided a deal on a bonnet, arranged to pick it up, when I got there he wasn't there and the bonnet was still at his mates unit and his mate couldn't get there, luckily I was paying when I picked it up so he never got his hands on my money. I still ended up wasting an hour an half of my time and a tenners worth of petrol tho

Sorry mate, but to be fair it seems like you lost the money a long time ago. Nothing wrong with being optimistic, as you may get your money back somehow, but unless you go down and demand them back with a baseball bat (or something to that effect) theres no reason why this guy would give your money back. He has nothing to loose.

TBF Ren, it's not hard to get to someone enough for em to get sick of it and give you your money back. My dad's done it before, won something on ebay for about £200, paid then item never got sent, it didn't take long till he had a cheque in the post that was from someone who lived about 200 miles away

Phone number works and he has credit as he text me asking who the missed call was off.
I'll call again tomorrow and keep calling and if I've no answer I'll give the Police a call see if they feel it would be appropriate for us to visit or whether they want the job.
Hopefully the guy is just disorganised. I know other users have been refunded when the pressure is applied.
