Well the longest was maybe 4 months, but that was about 7 years ago, since then a week here and there, then 5 years with nothing.

Well, not longer than 4 months no. I've never had time to be honest, no-one around my area has any interest in the things I do so I've had to do most things off my own back, which I dont mind, but now I just wanna chill with someone for a bit. I'm not on about marrying the first person I meet but im 27 and it would be nice to think about a family in around 4-5 yrs time.

That works both ways too - I've traveled with girls and got on with them so well it would be easy to have a relationship with them, then you are forced in different ways due to different shedules.

Yeah mate of mine met a full on fit german bird while travelling in oz and is living with her now since being back for over 3 years

You sound a bit stuck in your ways, i.e. no room to change your lifestyle for someone I can relate to that

I can easily change, but only in a positive way, something to move forward to and not laterally or backwards.

Typical thing around here is people are too caught up in TV. So many times i've invited a girl i've perhaps seen a few times if she want s to go surfing with me for a weekend coz I go most weekends in the summer, usually if theres big brother on or something that weekend or an Eastenders double bill, they wont go, then I cant be arsed with them after that.
