the average club night out has really started to bore me tbh. though i always enjoy getting pissed with mates. i prefer going to nights that are all about the music and play exactly what i like

I like going to clubs in france where they way you do things is buy a bottle of vodka for €35 and get free apple juice for it all night Other than that, it's gash.

I dislike it too, just moved away from the scene now and found it pointless, will only do it for someones birthday now and then and thats at a push.
Last time I went clubbing, for someones birthday, i wasn't even going to go, ended up dislocating my knee cap..
What a great night that was

...and pay for the priviledge of crossing the threshold aswell as hanging your coat up.
Oh, and at least double what the drinks should cost.

Im so glad to find others that feel the same as me
I'm nearly "half way to 50" and hate the though of going to a club now. A few months back I took up one of my mates offer and went up town into a club.... OMG.... WTF. Now I knew why I hadnt been for years. I spent about 3-4 hours being knocked, pushed, finding to find space to stand and watching a bunch of idiots acting like wankers! I couldnt hear shit and was pissed when spent a shit load of money only to get the drink in a plastic cup - WTF!
5 years ago, clubbing was top of my list.... but tbh I dont think I ever came out of a club with a on my face. It was always a let down!
Went out the other week... went to a pub, watched footy and played pool with some mates. Then went to another pub... drank more. Took 2 minutes to get served, I could sit down , never got knocked and could hear my mates talk
Then caught a taxi for a top notch curry . One of the best nights out for ages!
I remember one of my mates asking me why I went to clubs.... the only logical reason i could give is to try and get some . You dont go to a club, say up board street because of the music... cos its shit. You dont go for socialising cos you cant hear shit. You dont go for the beer cos thats shit and expensive when you can be arsed to queue up. If your a proper clubber then your'll properly go to a proper club with proper DJ's and proper clubbers!
Jesus... give it a few more years and I'll be saying all this about going out to the pub and curry house I'm getting old

I've only been about 3-4 times, I think it's pretty over rated. It good seeing all the fanny obviously, but to be honest I see better looking birds walking around Bluewater.
Maybe if I went to a 'high end' club in London I'd find it better, but it's just not really my thing in general.
