I went through all of that redundancy crap a few months back, some people left voluntarily so im safe now
Hope thats not what your meeting is for though.

Company gone a lil tits up and having to do quick moves.
Some director got made redundant and got three hundred thousand!! Would love that!! be sorted for a bit!!

it was for a company that sells villa holidays, and basically they didnt amke enough profit and laid off 4 trainees and 2 non trainee reservation consultants, it pissed me off because i was one of the top selilng trainees and was on the top selling 'pod' of the xmas period... c***s tbh!

TBH the amount of money they give you when you get made redundant is pretty pathetic, especially if you have high outgoings like homeowners.
It's hard to try and find a decent job with decent wage and rewards now a days... I must know was trying for nearly 2 years

True, but if you manage to get a job lined up for not long after you leave you wouldnt need to touch your redundancy money much
I know for a fact though the girlf wont be motivated to get a job while she has that money so it will be spent and she will become a fat pig

oh and they had the cheek to tell everyone on the Tues (my day off at the time) and when i came in onthe weds, atmosphere was weird and id idntknow i was losing my job ;-( i worked untill 1 pm (sold holidays to!-made them f-ing money) then got told at about 1pm! it was so embressing knowing everyone in the office except me knew i was losing my job! well upsetting it was
