pete doherty is such a great singer songwrite and poet. just because he likes to dabble in a few stuff makes him a bad person. ive seen a few documentries on john lennon that makes him out to be a big crackhead but nobody cares now

The musicians that did drugs in the 60s and 70s were known for their music not how much smack they injected into female fans veins. Doherty has been that fucked he hasn't turned up or if he has, has been severely incoherent. If he did that as a member of the rolling stones for example he would have been booted out the band for being a girl pants.

The fact is, Doherty was the lead singer in the band who brought 'indie' music back to the public eye, without them, none of the bands in the charts in the last 5 years would have had a chance.

Bollocks, complete bollocks. You think people weren't aware of what went on? All it is nowdays is that the coverage of certain events & the media pressure are far far more intense
Does my head in how people ignore someones talents & just go on what they've heard/read in the papers/media/pub or whatever

I just don't like the guy as a musician, a person or a role model. Yes he'll have loyal fans because his music will appeal to people but i personally don't like his music or him and i'm a member of the majority group as far as that is concerned

What else will i go on, the dinner date i had with him last week? Yes i'm well aware the media have him as a whipping boy but he's been given numerous chances that a normal drug addict wouldn't have which he doesn't deserve just because he makes music, surely you must agree with that?

I try not to be but when you see a picture of him injecting a female fan it's kind of hard not to be discusted by it. For the most part i couldn't care less about him, he is perfectly free to take drugs and ruin his own life it's the others directly affected that sticks in the throat.
I'll take that as a backhanded compliment anyway

they will countiue selling unless people boycot these so called newspapers that sell to morons.

Im mearly replying to the post with my opinions. You questioned why i had my own opinions, so i informed you why i dislike her.
I may learn something if i watch the news, yes I will learn the meaning of depression. You think i've never watched a news artical in my lifetime, please, are you that dimwitted I do not regulary watch or read the news, if there is a paper in the canteen, i may browse, but its all depressing, why would i be stupid enough to read a load of made up cr4p
Your right, i don't know much about smack, i just smoke green, i have more self control and respect within myself as to go into drugs of that kind. Im not that stupid, imo.
