Deano!! thats awful!! i get 250 miles to half a tank on average! i know the 12v isnt great wen loaded (ive proved that to myself from to-ing and fro-ing from uni (Coventry) and back (Oxford)) but thats its worryin for imo....but then you get less a tank than me. i fille dup yesyterday, 43.73l, £45 after 434 miles!

I probably could get more, but like I said, never really let it run down. I fill up every week before Uni regardless, because it is less of a hit on the wallet. £20 or so is better than over £30 for empty

I hate these people that watch their fuel like its gunna run out tomorrow. If im in the mood, ill drive the Clio hard and enjoy it. I dont give a shit about the cost of diesel, how much my car takes.

I started raving about 57mpg out it, but its settled now to 52.5mpg, which is still 550 miles to one £48 tank

I don't worry about it either. This all started from me saying the 12v uses more on the motorway

I do go a different way to Uni, which is less miles, but takes same amount of time as the other way, but uses less fuel. Might as well save a couple of quid every week which adds up at the end of the year, and do my bit for the environment
