yeah im not saying they cant refuse, im saying if they honour the sale it has to be for advertised price.
they can still refuse the sale though, as has been said

They can refuse to sell it.
But if they do sell it they have to sell it at the price that is stated on the shelf.

sorry but you really are there is no contract at the time of advertisment why would they legally have to sell it at that price?

we have two of the biggest companies in there market both saying its the case, i have no links, mainly because i cba to look, and because im happy with the training and advice i was given whilst working in said sector

i work at asda and i used to work at staples, doesnt meen i knew any thing till i did a degree in

and im bored now i have proved my argument countless times through quite a variety of information and you still wont admit im correct so i cant be bothered to argue.
btw like i said once the mistake has been brought to the intension of the shop they do have a certain time limit untill they have to rectify the mistake.
And they can not advertise wrong prices on purpose to gain customers but other than that its up to them at what price they sell.

No ones arguing contract law, just the fact you said the customer can pay more than advertised. That goes against the sales of goods act

right i will say this one last time if the wrong price is a mistake, and i own a shop if something i have for sale is £1 i can then charge them £2 if i want at the till IF IT WAS A MISTAKE.
it is not against the law there is no contract formed.
