Nothing. He could see the whitestuff in the coolant camp tank and on the water. He said it must just be a bit random. I did have to switch the engine on for about 5 seconds when I had my crash with no coolant, so it may be the exhaust gases from that etc.
Either way, it isn't the headgasket. The gurgling noise from behind the dash I sometimes get, he said, is probably caused by a minor air lock. But it never overheats when driving along, even all last summer, and only when in traffic, like any Corsa does.
He didn't charge me for the test either

Does it overhead, or just get hotter. My Corsa used to go sit below 90 deg's, even in doing 105 on the motorway, then in traffic, used to heat up to95, fan kicks in, back to 90, up to 95... etc.
