mate of mine has to do the same; they're the world Tug of War champions and take it really serious. They've got their own sauna and for 5 days before weigh in literally eat nothing and live in the sauna to shed some weight!

see now surely that looses a couple of pounds, but cant be good for ure body and must drain u of energy and make u weaker?

They weigh in 1 day before the even normall, and can then eat/train as much as they like in the 24-36hours before competing

I know, I used to think the same but it's so foOking competitive; serious training hours 3nights a week and competing at weekends. The UK is the best place in the world at the moment but they've been all over the globe competing - tour of the USA, Japan, China and they're all built like brick shit houses

LOL jesus i can picture him now ffs cringe worthy

I just got back, 2 new ppl in today 1 guy and his hot gf and everyone was staring and he was getting well angry. Then he got her to spot him whilst he tried to do Skullcrushers with an EZ bar and 20kg on each side.... she could hardly lift it onto his hands, and he couldn't even do a rep and nearly killed himself made me chuckle, but i refused to help i watched him go red then purple before both of them struggling to put it down

i aint been for years lol, was good to see how far you could run before dying, and seeing it go up and up and up each day. i never really did weights.
