i feel sorry for you if you need to bully/pick on people. whatever ive done im sorry, theres just no need for the type of replies you always give is there?

'pointless thread' that is my opinion. not a 'sly dig'. i dont want you to pity/feel sorry for me because there is no reason for you to do so. i dont believe in bullying or picking on people, let alone over the internet so in that respect you are completely wrong. i dont want you to apologise. i couldnt give a shit mate what you say or do. and whos the one playing innocence now? you. make you're mind up what sort of person you want to represent yourself as over a computer monitor mate but all i see is someone who is so opinionated and angry about this that or the other that all they do is through their attitudes and views at others on this site. not very pleasent

was it contructive? or a form of baiting? if you think it was constructive, please explain where?

i fail to see how it is a pointless thread thegsi

he has started a discussion on what people think would be better, and i didnt see anything in the thread that was baiting, taking the piss, being a twat etc

until you came in and started posting shite

i agree, muppetsport does have his moments, winding people up etc, but i cant see anything in this thread

i have driven a 380 bhp 4wd round a few bends! and i thought it was awesome! no slide very little roll and no screatching. so if a fwd car could do the same i would be twice as impressed

get 4wd on your corsa and stop being a fag

ive not once said it was constructive. but i also dont belive it was a form of baiting. i believe you automatically get on the defensive for no reason. that is how i feel on the matter? problem? deal with it. not everyone agrees with you in life im afraid mate.

If we were talking purely about cornering I would say 4wd, and as already mentioned you can set the front/rear split up however you want. So in reality you can set it to whatever driving style you prefer. The FWD would probably be faster in the straights, and the engine is only trying to drive 2 wheels instead of 4.

In the end I think it would be down to personal prefernce.

Well if that is at all unfair then perhaps you might want to dispute it.

If you've some grievance against muppetsport then this is a different issue and not a good reason to ruin another thread. I'm a little annoyed with him myself after reading Colins thread but I was after keeping a bit of a lid on that and not letting it spill out everywhere.

I know people always bring up 4x4 transmission loss in the 2wd's vs 4x4's arguement

But if you look at the stats for 2wd and 4x4 saff cossies it is very marginal.

Irrelevant and doesn't excuse it. If there are more people doing wrong then lets sort them all, not join in with it.

yes of course. i would say a 4wd car would handle better. i dont really know much but i am using a generalisation that 4wd cars handle/grip the road better.

Which stats, straight line stuff?

IIRC, Audi were still winning even after the weight penalty, and then TOCA banned 4WD from the BTCC, so that says 4WD is better for handling, as said.

id say sometimes the wheel horsepower (love that term, thanks vtec alan) you lose is not necessarily a bad thing with 4wd as the outright grip/traction it has is far superior for handling.

No i dont want to dispute it as it was myself who went off subject, I'm admitting that. I did it as muppetsport has done so to my replies in the past. ill let that be that and stop replying in this thread now as ive said all i have needed to say. sorry anyway.
