no, as the story goes the "estate" (consisting of a monor house which is now a golf club, another large house which was recently up for sale for £1.5million and another house which is now a pub) was lost gambling by my great grandfather's uncle. my great grandfather's parents had died young and my great grandfather wasn't old enough to inherit it so it was left in the hands of the uncle, who then lost it all gambling. the family still owned 4 farms but they weren't worth anything like the rest of it.

edit:cosmo may be able to back up these places do actually exist
