My 17 year old cousin died last year, he was Liverpool mad and we had 'You'll never walk alone' played in church, was really sad, I'm a Man U fan and I'll never go watch a United v Liverpool game live again cos I just can't bare to hear that song anymore.

Know what you mean, whenever I hear that song i just end up crying because its just a reminder. Funerals are to upsetting.

i know its a hard thing for family members etc, but when mine comes around id rather people be celebrating my life than mourning it too much, obviously for close relatives and friends that is not going to happen but it would be the way id prefer it

people feel differently in my opinion I thinks if persons die of old age this should then be a celebration of life. If its through a tragic death or loss for illness then this is more heart touching. If you get me? Obviously within old age its going to be upsetting as closeness for the loss of a loved one but I think tragic loss is a different matter of funeral. Sorry to go on just making myself clear before anyone shouts at me
