How about bricking the front door up from the inside. . . . . .bugger just realised the door opens inwards.



Steal an AA and RAC 3 star sign from a local hotel, install it, then get fire escape signs and put them above all the doors on the inside, fire alarm things on the wall etc and tea and coffee making facilities in all bedrooms, so it looks like you've turned the place into a hotel
