I know someone that works in A&E at a hospital and they say that people that come in after bodge suicide attempts are frowned upon badly by the doctors and nurses.

Dave, it's not just about his ex. Don't draw a conclusion when you don't know what you're on about.
I think it's utterly disgusting that people are slagging him off TBH. If you have something bad to say, say it somewhere else, not in this thread.
