Iraq isnt the point of this, its Iran. Granted they may of got it wrong with Iraq, and they may not of had any yet, but with Saddam in charge they were always going to keep of trying. They DID have a WMD programme on the go, it just might not have been as far down the line as we thought.
You have to do the same in Iran aswell. Any state that isnt under proper democratic control shouldnt even be allow to think of having WMDs.

Mark, iirc the Spanish supported the invasion when it was in its diplomatic stages. i may be wrong though.

there is a difference between knowingly harbouring them, and not knowing!
And just because they went over there doesnt mean they were trained there, etc. etc.

I disagree cosmo the americans told general mushrraff that he could not stay as leader without elections in the lower house.
he then held elections becuase of the americans intervention. There are now a majority of religious TWATS voted in to the parliment due to the americans and they are making musharaffs life hell and straining the relationship.

last time I checked...
- we dont knowing harbour terrorist
- we actively hunt terrorists out
- we are a democratic society where decisions are held to account
- we dont actively go to war with neighbours over religion/land/etc.
- we dont use our WMDs over other countries to expand our own.
