Here here!! opposite sex mates is a no goer as far as im concerned, not if your wanting a serious relationship.
As far as being 'friends' with other girls, mates girlfriends, folk ive known/went to school with etc yip i'd talk to them if I passed them in the street, hi, hows it going etc but I woudnt be calling them up wanting to go to the shops or whatever

It did with me and the ex, she had male 'friends' also, not good, i felt uncomfortable, and the unevitable did happen.

What are we classing as femail friends here, is it just like someone that goes about in your group of friends & always has & your girlfriend knows this or is it someone you've possibly knocked about with before, decided to be friends.....go to each others houses to hang out, out to the pub, to the shops on a weekend....behind her back...............or what

Like I said, I have work colleages who are female and would go to the pub as a group at lunch. But i'd never go to the pub with one of them alone. Not just the fact that they're boring twats, but more so that they're all ugly and I wouldn't want anyone thinkin I was pokin them
