i've lost my standard colour coded electric mirrors grrr. guess the dtm mirrors will have to stay for the time being.
and cars are a pain in the arse mate, eveyr month i have to buy new things for the mechanical parts.
right now my car needs a new centre pipe as something is rattling in it and sounds like a tin can with a marble inside it....
new clutch cable as the existing one is readjusting itself....
a new lower grille as i stupidly broke my other one...
and a repair to the bonnet where some nonce pulled out on me when he should've given way on a roundabout...

This is whats Annoying me the most, I have had it 3 months now and I've just found fault after fault with it, it doesnt even have an mot and i have only driven it 5 Very slow miles, MOT Failure sheet had 17 Fails on it which i just fxed, then replaced evry sensor near enough for my dizzy mechanic to tell me to buy an uncoded ECU onlly to find it is coded after all taking more time & money which didnt even correct the problem and now this, So I've sent the Cowboy mechanic Packing on his horse the Useless Cnut and brought my car home now, Mate who is a mechanic said he will do my Head gasket and get it skimmed for £100 so might do this Friday.
Was supposed to be swapping it for a C reg Golf GTi Convertable this weekend once the MOT was sorted but that isn't going to happen now, Going to try and buy it Cash

Ben, Have you got heat shields on your exhaust any where as a stone might have got caught in it. Had the same rattling on my gold and got my heat shield cut off and it was fine.
Getting my exhaust sorted tomorrow, New cat, Possible new flexi pipe as I have torn it and hopefully some silencers!!! costing a couple hundred

don't think i have rattling comes from under the car, goes away if i rev the car but when it's idling you can really hear it.
