Re-read my post again re Andy.

Union and League players produce muscles in different areas. Most RL players are huge piles of muscle. most RU players are bulk in the forwards, and slim but strong and very fast runners in the backs. With RL, everyone is the same size practically.

As i've said, the games are different. RL you run at someone as hard as possible. Make as much ground, you have 5 tackles to get as far as you can. Then you kick, push the opponents as far back as possible, then try to stop them making back the ground with their 5 tackles. Do this until 1 team is nearly on the opposite line, chip the ball/dummy pass the ball, break the defence, score..

RU you try to run around them, create space, use various tactics and ploys to get round your opponent.

RL is more physical, but RU is by far the more skillfull.

Apart from playing with an oval ball, kicking between the same style posts, and having to pass the ball backwards, RL and RU are two totally different games. Might as well compare American Football tbh..

no i just meant how fresh faced he looked, hair perfect and just posh in general also called titterall

RU is not by far 'more skillful' that is stupid, kicking is more skilful but then again you can win a game by dropping goals at 10 point a go

RL players tend to be more skilled at ball handling ect, yet union are more skilled at rucking mauling, line outs and all them technical aspects

Its a promotion photo. Check the web link that i got the image from.

Kicking, what aspect? Place kicking? If the other team do something illegal, and theres a chance of gaining 3 points from it, why not kick? Get a lead, secure it, then start scoring tries... Thats commen sense.

I agree, RL are better ball handlers. How some of those guys hold onto a ball while running at full steam into 3 players is very good (but then the other players are pulling your fingers back, trying to rip the ball from you, as its illegal).

Sorry but RU players are far more skillfull overall in terms of pulling moves off. Theres a lot more to learn/do in RU. SL, your scrums arn't scrums really, you don't have rucks and mauls, you don't do lineouts, you backs arn't really backs, there arn't defined parts of the teams, you don't pull of complicated passes and runs, and theres not many RL players with specialist hitch kick style runners (just watch Rugby 7's). You just get passed the ball and run into people at full steam. Theres hardly any close offloads, passing whilst being tackled (for fear of loosing the ball). Its a faster game than Union, but no-where near as skillfull (Those skills are useless if the other team members can't pull of moves though).

Look at the Irish backs on saturday gone for an example of how a good set of backs play well together. And i've never rated either of their wingers. Its all down to 3 players (FH and 2 centers) and their playmaking abilities.

Im not gonna change your opinion, you won't change mine

I agree with VXR that RU is a more skillful game. I personally don't like RL.

This is a might can of worms, however RU bores the skin off me I literaly cant watch it. just kick after kick with harldy any tries, RL is faster and more physical, how often in RU do you see the ball in play for 10 - 15 mins at a time

While were on about flair watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VjhE7DOvD-c

I watched that video...

I see nothing spectacular. 2 tired teams, wanting it more, the others letting their defence down, very poorly I might add as well...

I see much more interest in sevens rugby than i did there tbh. See all that stuff all the time.
