I used to dabble when I was younger but when I look at some of the people I used to go out with I can only pitty them on how pathetic they look and how I must have looked. I went through a really bad stange of depression because of it all and wouldn't wish the year of hell I had on my worst enemy, they are illegal for a reason and even a small quantities of any illegal drug can fuck you up royally.
The phrase 'drugs are for mugs' springs to mind and what a total mug I was, I'm only lucky that my true friends and family stood by me and helped me over come what was a real problem in my life.
On a brighter note I'm back to my old self with the love of a good women and doing very well for myself. I've just got to look back at what might have been and what I've got now to keep me and the straight and narrow.

I'm just playing btw, if you don't enjoy it or it's been bad for your life then fine, but I know plenty of people with ggod lives and nice families and succesful careers who still dabble now and then.
If you have an addictive streak it's probably not for you but why piss on everyone elses bonfire because of your own experiences 
I personally would consider it a wasted opportunity of not experiencing everything that interested me if I was lying on my deathbed remenicing (SP )

Dont' get me wrong I do still have good memories and had some amazing experiances. It's just the bad times started to far exceed the good times and it became a bit of a slippery slope from there.
Maybe I am being overly critical but it would be a boring world if we all voiced the same opinions and had the same views on everything.

Personally I think the problem with this thread was that it came across that you were trying to push your view on people, what you have to remember is people will do the drugs no matter what you say and not everyone does drugs, ive been to raves where there has been no drugs, and some of them are the best ive ever been to,
Yes drugs are illegal etc, but look what has come out of it though, some of the best music ever made, multable sclarosis (sp) sufferers being relieved of pain, etc but yes the bad things do out weigh the good

drugs do you no justice.. my brother almost died from extacy and speed.. he was on life support for a few days. he was into the drum an bass scene in the mid 90's.. he has totaly changed his life around after that. i never do drugs like that, i smoke weed and hae done coke once.

I don't listen to the propoganda and yet... I think everybody who does drugs is a fucking retard. I would actually prefer the Government to make things like Ecstacy legal because idiots like you don't understand that even the smallest dosage of Sulphur in a tablet will kill you. But in my opinion, anyone who dies from taking drugs under their own will, doesn't deserve sympathy.

people who die from drugs were probably only looking for a good time, but they knew the risk and brought it on themself,
you see all these stories of people taking an E on their 18th and dying or something, really clever kids who were going to uni etc etc bla bla
cant have been that intelligent to pop a tablet!

i don't do pills, always said i'll try one one day, when i was 16,17,18 my mates used to be popping them all the time and have a few mates at uni who have the odd few. Did you know though, statistically you are more likely to die from a vending machine dropping on you than an E.
As long as you know the risks next time you are at the vending machine you should be safe!

Yeah but did you know that not all E's are safe. I guarentee most of the cases that reach the news/newspapers etc are because the pill had Sulphur in it. That is why I'd rather see E's made legal! Then hopefully they would be made safer.

Agreed eck, as RPM was saying. MDMA has not been prooven to be dangerous. but nowadays, pills are full of allsorts of shit. If they were made legal, they wouldnt be full of shit and therefore safer. not safe, SAFER!!
