i have drank cider for over 2 years, i started on it in the summer and after a few months of drinkin it i went off lager. I drank lager for about 6 years before this and used to enjoy it but now i cant stand it. Not into bitter either so its got to be cider for me now.

thatchers is the best stuff i've tried. Mainly drink strongbow coz thats what is in my local. Not into magners, it seems like a 'Fashion' drink. Bit of clever advertising and everyone is drinking it.

Occasionally drink Strongbow, had 10 one night and was in a mess on bathroom floor  Used to drink 'proper' hand pulled Scrumpy too, that was amazing and sent me crazy! Ocassionally drink Magnersbut I prefer pear Koppaberg

pheasent plucker is best for the name.
As for the taste ALL cider tastes like shite imo. Only people that drink it are tramps and inbred southern farmer types. Magners is awful too.

Thatchers if i can get it.
Otherwise it has to be the more traditinal weak stuff like Blackthorne or sumit.
I suggest anyone that thinks ciders a girls drink , cme to somerset and drink the proper stuff rather than comparing it to magners and strongbow thast like piss compared to what we get!

I tend to have to stick to strongbow now since whenever I drink blackthorn these days I seem to end up getting arrested. Try and get some natch occaisionally and I had some really good cornish scrumpy a couple of weeks ago, you could taste the rats

cant beleive people are making a big deal out of people drinkin cider. some people like it others dont. I for one drink it all the time, doesn't make me a fag or a tramp or girl or southern farmer type. Get on the Thatchers for a night and then comment on how girly it is.

Makes me laugh.. all this crap about "girls drink" etc..
I also like Thatchers.. down the Man & Sythe in Bolton.
Also Old Rosie.. that's nice.
Both of em get me more pissed than a night out on lager or ale's.. so to be perfectly honest, if I was the only one out of my mates not on cider one particular night.. I would probably feel more of a girl.

fully agree with Nismo, etc. so many narrow minded people PROPER cider is lovely, woodpecker, Red C etc is gash! im quite partial to westons and thatchers, but especially scrumpy
