been to see the cupra today! its got rust on the back drivers side arch and on the rear light on the drivers side (well around the light!) its an 02 plate btw.... anyone know if this is a comman problem or should i stay well clear?

the fact its got rust on such a relatively new chassis, perhaps accident damage with poor repair?

yeah mate said it could be this.... there isnt a lot of it. and it looks just to be surface rust...

I would steer clear mate, must be poor workman ship!
I've heard of rust on the bottom of the rear screen.

just went for another look.... there is hardly any rust! must of been because it was really dirty! made it look worse, all together it adds up to the size of a 1 pence peice and its getting fixed before i buy
