yeah but then i wouldnt be able to clean my archs and it would bug me

its really not all that easy even though its not lowered

how it sits atm



id rather have clean archs then a lowered car

i probably shouldn't admit this on a public forum, but I agree with you Steve that cars should have clean arches. Especially when they are body coloured! I wouldn't sacrifice ride height for bufty arches tho

you'd be surprised how much crap comes out your archs if youve never cleaned them!

for all the weight saving freaks theres probably a could few kgs of mud stuck in your archs

my car is black and the wheel arches are black. yet at the furthest part away behind the wheel it is a disgusting orangey/browny colour when i clean it. therefore i would rather have my arches all black instead of having a gay browny/orange colour peering through.

I cleaned the arches on my old 1.1 106 a few times... I had 15" alloys on it, unlowered... anyone who's seen a 1.1 106 or Saxo unlowered on 15's will know how high they sit . The arches were easily accessible... and with the car being white, the painted arches were quite noticeable when clean. Quite satisfying actually , getting the shite load of mud out of the arches.

I can't get into arches to get them cleaned, wheels would have to come off..i get in there with a jetwash though and take loose stuff off..

It took me 4 hours to just do the driver side rear and front though, I use quite a small brush so that I do it properly and don't get paint all over the components.

looks really well. i got my mate to blast them along with engine bay and in below etc but i got some black over spray on my rear arch and was thinkin of getting it sprayed again but this has put me in the notion of just brushing some on.. be handier
