you'd probably be better buying one privately, they come up now and again, and aren't as expensive.
DoG overprice things remember
what was all this about anyway? either you were lying or your now just arguing for the sake of it?

there's a black rs1600i in my garage
been sitting there 7years now, the re-build starts next winter, rot gets to them though, slam panel is the 1st affected area,
if u do get one makesure it has the twin coils and its not been replaced with a dizzy, just for originality,
i'd say keep it nice and not track it, but its a car none the less, but they're pretty rare now, with the rs owners club reckoning there's under 500left now

No they didn't, but if you read it, it's a Turbo Technics converted RS1600iT.

it was converted by turbo technics back in the 80's its,

yeah, as long as the floor is as solid as it looks, that's worth the money, interior is mint, and that's the rarest bit.
Would love brand new 'i' interior for the Turbo instead of the boring S2 setup.

It's an A reg too, which means it will have the larger and superior front turrets, and I think there's a rear suspension improvement too.
The 'i' does have outstanding handling. My friend Rob had one years ago as his 2nd car and he said it was the best handling car he's ever driven.

If the Turbo was ever bodily damaged beyond repair, i'd love a mint black or silver 'i' to transfer all the hardwear into.
