Saying that, the pop charts are a con also - look at Imogen Heap, music is absolute amazing, yet her singles couldn't be placed in the charts because they wouldn't allow the fact that her CD packaging had 3 covers...WTF!? 
Jay kay - cds are actually pressed rather than burned, similar to that of vinyl, so it takes only a second or so

will youngs drying up, has been for the last year or so. But yea, Girls Aloud are pretty succesful - but there still isn't any talent there, and without the programme neither one of them would have been taken on as artist

Absolutely, George Micheal may like it in the public loos, but a lot of the stuff on his albums is performed by him (plays piano/guitars etc), and he certainly writes a lot of his own stuff (/co writes)...same can be said for Seal, another great artist

Michelle McManus, Gareth Gates, Darius, Rick Waller, Chico , Hear Say. Shane Ward, Journey South.
All had their fame from this programme. Yes there are some people that are still producing records, girls aloud & will young, but I think that Leona will be one of these people that will have there 6 months of fame, and then fade out. Not sure about "Ray" though, If he gets the right record producer then he could be big, even though im not a fan.

we can all list who won the show, year after year, but none of them have been succesful enough to stay around long, bar will young (whos disappearing) and girls aloud.....

Leona won but im my eyes shes shit, all she does is scream and ruins good songs. Ray should have won doesnt matter tho because he will sell more albums than leona when his record deal comes out. There are over 1,000,000 pre-orders for her song. These orders were made before anyone even knew who would win. The people that pre-order are fucking freaks. Who would pre-order a song without hearing it first, or knowing who its going to be sung by??
