Jade, just been looking through the ones on ebay and some of them are impressive - but they are computer generated prints where as the ones you do are hand made, unique and, in my opinion, much more desirable as no two are alike!
Sure you don't want to make and sell a few?

Jules, I think she would like to make some to sell but she's not sure how much to sell them for & what colours etc people would like!!
How much would people be prepared to pay for one similar to what she made me??

the ones in browns would sell easily, same with blues.
you'd get whatever the other similar ones on ebay go for, whatever that is.

Well the one I originally posted about went for just over £100, although it was 5 canvasses and 6 foot across.

You'd still get £50 a print I reckon.
I reckon Jade should make another, and stick it on ebay, see if there's demand there.
You're not gonna make money by not trying one

£50 a set all day long in my opinion!
I know I certainly would.
As for colours then do the neutral and current trend colours.
Neutral colours that are subtle and can go in any room - shades of creams and browns, also the "in" colours like powder blue, black/silver/red etc
I really think it's a talent that can be turned into a bit of cash.

I think part of the reason why it went for so much was cos the page made it look like it was a professional artist selling his work, if you could spend a bit of time making the page look professional then I guess you could charge a bit more over the odds Now I know how easy they are to make I wouldnt pay £100+ for one, but the majority of people dont know so id definately give it a go. The artist selling the one I was bidding on had an opening price of £65 on each one

£65 sounds resonable.
Just worked out it took 5hrs to do & materials came to £25 or thereabouts.
£65 would pay her £8/hr if making nothing on the materials. Could be a no bad sideliner but would need to sell quite a few to make a living from it!! In saying that we found a shop in town selling similar for £100-£145

Framed canvases are quite expensive £50 for 10 but im sure if you bought a roll of canvas & made your own frames it would be much cheaper...if planning to make quite a few it would certainly bring your costs down!!

all it is is 4 bits of wood, some screws and a few staples to hold the canvas

Anything involving screws is a man's job

hahahahahahahah im at work laughing to myself
on a side note, Jade that canvas you made is wicked, have a go at selling some, you'll be surprised. I did a big wall art painting for a friend one time for free and from that i managed to get 5 jobs for other ones and i was doing them for £200-250 a time
