We've made it! The higher and the lower, used two kinds of metal sheet, one with small holles behind the opel logo and one with larger holes for all the grill.

Well people, I have a doubt. We are building a better engine for the GSi on the pics, but here in Brasil we don't have the much needed forged rods. Pistons we can find, forged rods is the problem.

We can make one in autocad and then machine it on cnc, but except for the project made in house, we will pay a lot for the machining service, for the forged pieces and so on...and will take a lot of time to do it...and something can always go wrong.

So, I was wondering...perhaps this people know something...

Is it easy to find those rods? Anyone knows the price or can say something better to me?

Cheers!

Hehehehehe! Not so much...in the winter is very cold here in the south. Ok, snow is very very rare, but rain happens all the time. And the streets are very dirty and dusty. The cars in certain way are a lot dirty.

This specific GSi is very clean because the owner is a MANIAC

The car never go out on the rain and have the bottom clean and waxed as the painted surface. The only car around here we can change the exaust without gloves and the hand still white.

And about the rods....no one knows nothing?

Well, I perceived that many of you have liked the front grill. So, here some more pics from a Corsa C pick-up (Chevrolet Montana here):
