pmsl your an idiot!

SteveieXE doesn't know that!

Neither do you!

Have either of you even gone near a 106 gti or a VTS in your life

You are both talking nonsense. The car's make various power outputs mainly probably due to inacurate rolling roads, but generally engine's do make different power, usually based on how well the original components match the standard map applied to every car.

This is why when every car gets remapped, they make similar power.

Corsaflip your talking complete bullshit, please stop talking. I don't care what you've read and where you've read it. Reading things doesn't necisarily make them true. I've had my car for over 2 years, and in that time I've met many a 106 gti / Vts owner and read many posts on SSC / PGAC / Rallye Register etc.

Trust me ... There is not a '130 bhp' Model. There may be cars that produce 130 bhp Standard, but it was not an intentional design!

Otherwise, tell me this... What is different?

Why would Peugeot / Citroen, take a perfectly good engine... Completely Redesign it to produce another 10 bhp for year 2000 model, but not advertise the fact that it was any quicker, then make the later ones 120 bhp again!

Then... and this is the true beauty, develop a C2 VTS with a very similar head and engine design, but make that one only produce 125 bhp with larger valves and ports. Surely if the saxo engine was producing 130 bhp, they'd of just used that without fucking about with larger ports / valves to produce 5 more bhp.

The C2 VTS head, due to the differences, won't allow you to run High lift cams like cat cam 708.

Corsaflip actually think about what your saying for a second, put yourself in the mind of a big corporation creating cars. Then go through what your saying... Everything has to be designed, planned, thoroughly tested before it can be applied to a car.

They would not produce a 'special' model 130 bhp version, but not even capitalise on the fact that it even existed!

Face facts, 'Some Gti / VTs' make 130 bhp due to engine differences, when they're remapped / cam'd etc they'll make the same power as all the rest with similar mods.

There was never a Rare 130 bhp Model Released.

This man has marketing knowledge.

I like the argument I've caused, it's brilliant!
