Gets used properly as well He took it to Misano last year...
Exhaust didn't need to be changed, just a map changed on the engine. From 3000rpm upwards he thinks its not that much quieter than his TL with the ARTs on it...
Im awaiting a ride, but i think i'll hold off till next year now. He offered, but i refused that evening (light was getting low, didn't want to break his pride and joy ). I can't bloody wait...
U've had some good bikes as well. U'll get back into it

yeah the 748r was my best and favourite bike.......after my 125 gp bike now that was a machine! it was an engineering marvel! lol! the drive out of corners on the duke was unreal, and the sound it made at 11,000 rpm just before the limiter was amazing. one day i'll own another one, whether it be a race/track bike or a road bike!
bikes have been and alway will be my main passion in life (just need my girlfriend to understand this! ), but at the mo i'm taking a break from racing and enjoying building bikes and touring/scratching on them

Happy days of watching 125's go screaming along, regulary breaking the exhaust through vibrations just before the end can.. They still carried on, all be it a little more deaf? Pardon?
I love the 748/916 range, it was oout of this world, but keen memories of Terry Rhymer, Raymound Roche etc on the 888's... Ahhhh dribble.
Saying that, did u watch the last WSB round, damnnnnnnnn that was a GREAT two races... Was litterally on the edge of the sofa

i love my aprillia rs 125. ok its not the quickest thing out there, but you try shake one off on the twisties with a good rider on board!
don't get me on those 851/888's. again one day i'll own one of them, and a zx7-rr....just because they're how a superbike should look! i'm gonna have to build one hell of a garage!! lol
yeah i watched the 1st race but missed the 2nd i couldn't breathe through the whole race i was that enthralled! much better than the bayliss/edwards fight for the 2002 title at imola! toselands come on strong this year! i think he might just do it next year but bayliss is a nutcase! can't wait for motogp this weekend! its haydens to lose, and the rossi freight train is gathering speed!

Honestly, I can't really see Rossi loosing it this year. Haydens just been "average" all season, Honda have dropped behined this year. Yamaha have really improved, but the man on form for me this year is Caparossi. Every time the bikes working, hes a missile.
Ahh i meant 125cc racing bikes like...

Although they were a little more "blocky" when I was around them...
U'd be suprised, 851's i see going for about £2500, 888's arn't any more.. Hence why its a realistic weekend bike
Loved the comments on the WSB race though "we should send a DVD copy to all the F1 drivers and say THATS racing"
I always wanted one of these for the road as well. Ducati Supermono. I've just weed i think/...

sorry yeah, i loved my honda rs 125 aswell!! my last one just like that movistar one above (pedrosa's??) except it didn't have a full hrc works kit and didn't have white power (wp) suspension, but it did have an "a" kit cylinder and barrel, and had 46 bhp, which is a lot for a club bike! my first one was a "93 model with '94 engine and that had a box for the seat unit! lol
those ducati supermono's never did too well when i saw them racing. they could never keep up with the home made ones with bmw engines with a cylinder lobbed off! still a stunning bike though to say its what?, 12 year old?
as for hayden, well, 3 race wins in a 4 year motogp career isn't championship material! he just looks like he'd rather sit back and take easy points rather than go show that he is a true champ in the making! don't get me wrong, he's been the best so far to migrate from a superbike to a proper race bike! but if he does win this year he won't again! it'll be rossi and pedrosa from next year onwards, with lil loris all elbows and knees in the middle somewhere!
cybermonkey, is that you seriously?

Yeah, they never done well, but i've got a thing for singles and twins
46bhp on a bike that will balance on 1 hand. Power to weight...
I know the old 125's from when i was around were hitting about 130, which is f-ing good going. Wonder what the current MotoGP 125 bikes are getting on the straights now.
Agreed, Hayden just doesn't "want" it enough. Im really looking forward to next year (Don't think Haslem will go next year, he's not good enough yet).

Hayden aint doing that bad considering he came from the American superbikes and so would have never ridden the moto gp tracks. You cant expect him to jump on a gp bike with all the hot competition and expect him to start winning races, even if he is on a factory Honda.
Guys like Valentino, Capirossi Melandri etc all grew up through 125's 250's on the same tracks so in my books he aint doing that bad having led the championship for most of the year.
You could argue valentinos had bad luck, but then since America (I think?) he hasnt touched a podium due to HRC messing around with his clutch instead of focusing on the championship.
Allbeit he doesn't seem to have the "thirst" to win races outside of America, never seems to challenge like a world champion should.
As Daimo said earlier Give Capirossi a good setup and my moneys on him, he's been like a rocket after the sete incident! Think its a pity Melandri didnt go to Ducati for next year as those two are looking fast and challenging

Good points..
I wonder how Matt Maladin (?sp) would do in WSB or MotoGP. He oblitorates everything (even Hodgeson, but i've personnally never rated him as one of the best, its jsut Ducatis bike is that bit better than the others).
Agreed about Melandri as well. Give him another year or two. Ooooooooo im excited for next season already..
Did I hear a rumour that Biaggi has a ride for next year as well?

Biaggi signed for Corona Suzuki in WSB but due to a clause in his contract it apparently says he can leave for a ride in Moto GP although Suzuki have denyed all rumours biaggi has left them.
Apparently he's with Kawasaki for this year,
Nakano's(sp?) riding in replacemement of Tamada
riders still not sure about their jobs as far as i'm aware are sete, elias, edwards
ellisons gone so hope Haslam can make the move, glad Toseland stayed but we desperately need a decent brit in there on a good package!

Pics of the new 800's: (dribble)
Honda

Yamaha

Ducati

Suzuki

Cant wait now for the 2007 season, hope Capirossi races his 800 in Valencia this year, he said he would if he isnt in a challenging position after this weekend, and The Illmor (sp?) bike should be racing this weekend and in Valencia which should be good to watch

as stated, good points mr babyblade.
put hayden on a superbike and he'd clear up no doubt about it, but like i said he just doesn't seem to want it enough! he's too "nice" if you get what i mean.
mladin's a pansie enough said. he had a crack at 500 gp's, did nothing, went back to america to get confidence back then took the easy route and stayed there to be paid loads and now sounds off about how shite everyone else is. hmmm? sounds a bit like our own fogarty!
hodgeson's not done bad considering the rules for twins in amreica i way different to WSB rules. the ducati's are a lot more "standard" than the ones bayliss and lanzi use in WSB.
i've also heard biaggi has given backword on on alstare corona suzuki to go to kawasaki motogp. as much as i don't like the man i still miss watching him ride and also read about him spitting his dummy out! lol
also (now i'm turning this into an essay! ) i think yamaha have made the wrong decision in getting rid of andrew pitt for troy corser! like pitt has quoted in mcn, corser's past it!

a good link,
http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=-8462378466997568582&q=super+moto
its Biaggi Hayden Mike Metzger Jeff ward etc doing supermoto, think its some kind of Honda sponsorship thing, as Hayden and Biaggi are wearing there gp leathers and think their riding CRF's, worth a look.
after watching that i'm sure Haydens in the wrong type of racing!!

i'm unsure about the looks of the honda 800. that rear hugger looks way too long! the ducati is the best looking one of the 800's so far, but the suzuki and yam aint far behind in the looks department!

Yeah will be road legal - cant risk it not being anymore round here, the cops are out patroling all the time now for off road bikes and have their own Enduro team out to catch people

i sat at the oposite side of the spitfire at the bottom of the craner curves. the best place to view imo! you can see loads.
that link is ace! hayden's wasted on a gp bike!! get him on a supermoto!! lol. he is a dirt tracker at heart so he's bound to be good on one, nearly as good as me in fact!

Ahhh thats what they were on about, WSB... I'd liek to see Biaggi go there. Cool pics babyblade, not seen the new 800's yet..
Honda looks awful (damn short exhausts though!), Yamaha looks teh same, as does the Ducati, but with smaller pipes... But wheres the disks gone? Calipers are there...

I'd love to see Kwak and Suzuki raise the game though, make it more interesting for the manufactures.
Also routing for Toseland to go to MotoGP in a few years. He's really impressed me this season in how he can get in front, and stay there. Im glad Ellisons gone, he was never anywhere at all.

mladin's does my head in, its moans about how great he is, but then says we wont leave the AMA as he earns loads of money, more than the gp and wsb lads
much like when foggy got on his high horse and said he could beat doohan in gp's
i really really hope rossi wins, he's been my favorite rider for years and years along with walker
