the Trust 2 picture is the best example of a a bow shock wave as a result pressure chnage

You can sse the light being refracted as it travels through the speed of sound generating the bow shock wave

About 150MPH rising to around 230 for a concorde. But this will depend on the landing strips altitude and flap settings etc.

Have you ever seen a bus 'glide'?

As far as I am aware, buses are not recognised by the aerospace or aviation industries for their gliding capabilities.
