None of them live near me then as I find they all cruise about trying to look cool whilst I'm overtaking lol. Yet to seen one being driven bad although a 04 plate civic cut me up bad Sat yet it wasnt bread wagon shapped?

yeh m8 its funny how every ctr thread started here becomes a " slate the ctr " thread at the end.
I moved from a corsa to a ctr bout 3 months back. Although the corsa was good while i had it, i just felt i had to move on to a nicer/quicker car, the ctr was that car in my opinion.
I dont feel my car is the best thing since sliced bread but i do love the handling and the fact you can drive quite ecomically ( if u keep it below vtec) and make it shift if you want some fun.
The car is quick but i dont think think every traffic light is a mini grand prix start. Yes , you get retards who drive it but dont you get it with every single car out there?
Personally i love the fact these engines have longevity/reliability and the cheap servicing costs helps too.

I would expect the engine in any normal hatchback to last as long as a ctr engine.

My mate has a red 1 and my other mates mum has one, they are shite for a 200bhp car, my corsa is 150ish bhp and my mate wont race me coz he's scared... i have seen em at the pod getting pissed all over by 150bhpish cars... and yes they are big cars.
At the end of the day, torque backs up power, there is no point havin 400bhp when you have 100lbft is there... you'd have to be skinny with no mates and drive it with no clothes on and no trim at all in there.
We all know spaxo westcoasts are faster anyway.

nice car, but what a waste of cash - for around 5k+ i expect a lot more than a 100brake, seems stupidly low. But like i said, i expect a lot more from 200bhp, i dont car who has a faster car than me, i could easily sell my fez turbo and stick a let in my corsa but i cant be arsed, all i'm saying is whats the point of having 200bhp when u cant use it,
If you all wanna start this "my car is faster than yours" thing then go for it, we take the piss out of a guy at a local cruise for having type-r badges on a 1.4 civic, his reply was "race my mate then, he has 200bhp" so what, my mate has a 650bhp skyline, but i still have a corsa...
