I got attacked by a Pakistani gang when I was 17, I got fined £600 for cutting one of the gangs eye with a left cross, they got let off after they blacked my eye, cracked 2 ribs, and broke my nose.
That says it all.

Because I was stood in the bus station after a kickboxing lesson, obviously I had some of my training clothes on, they saw I did kickboxing and immediately wanted a fight, I tried walking off, but they chased me, but told police I called them racist unmentionables.
When I got dragged to the floor I immediately set about them, punched ones eye socked into a mess and then they filled me in.

they shouldn't have been allowed to come in in the first place
also, my point is this: Why is it always muslims, muslims, muslim? (not you)
As you stated, there is only one race...so? what people get in being specific for some apparent reasons?
I honestly dont believe or agree with what these bloody people who do stupid/horrible things (terror attacks) and because of these mf, other innocent/friendly people of their community get the bullshit..Is trhis right?
Killing innocents civilians in Iraq, ain't this terror? Who are doing this: Christians, then? ALL Christians should account for it?
Jews attacking civilians in JErusalem (not only muslim but also christians), is this good? Where are the Anti Seminitism? or are you too coward to speak about it?
When we voice our opinions, do it as it should be and not show our real colours as who we hate or love
We should be sensible in depicting those horrible things and not generalise...
When Rio Ferdinand plays for England, he is British, When Aamir Khan boxes, he represents England and everybody likes him, same for Nassir Hussain...
So?

i know this has nothing to do with it as such, but its an equal rights issue -
oustide my house, is a corner in the road, the road has recently been resurfaced, and today, they have decided to put down some of those bobbly floor tile things on the path near the road
why?
for wheelchair users or blind people of course, so they know where the edge of the road is
i can catagorically prove, that in the village I live, there is not one person in a wheelchair, or who is blind and walks about alone
a complete waste of money....
Hmmmm, just noticed this...
Being an Architect, I have to specify this stuff at ramps/road crossings. Its part of building regs driven by the DDA.
I sort of agree, but we WOULD be discriminating against the blind folk if it wasn't put down. I put the stuff in all manner of buildings with non disabled usage.....trouble is you can never guarantee you wont get a blind visitor

i know, but its one one crossing on the whole road.
and why does it need to be there? like i say, the people in wheelchairs wont be alone if they are blind... so they dont really need bumpy bits to tell them where the path ends, surely

Got told an interesting story by one of the guys doing some training at a course I've been at this week.
The architect that designed their HQ building (and it's a VERY nice building) originally designed the building with steps, to fit with the lines of the building.
He then got told, after it was built, that the building needed to properly comply with new (ish) disability regulations, so they had to convert the steps to quite a steep ramp to allow for wheelchairs to obtain access.
The result? Quite a lot of claims against the company, when people slipped on the ramps after it had rained or was icy.
The architect is now having to come up with a solution that allows for wheelchairs still, but doesn't make the entrance dangerous for non-wheelchair users when the ramp is wet or icy.

It for the ambulent blind IIRC.....their stick rub on it and they can feel it underfoot too
And for the deaf and blind there is a little rotating knob on the bottom of the pelican box....oeeer

Quite a few got caught out when the new regs came in....steep ramps are against the rules, so thats a no no too
The general solution is a short rise lift = expensive
Ive seen some well funny fotos of bodged stairs/ramps
Funnily (or not really) you can now only have ten risers in a stair flight in public buildings.....then a landing. Nearly fell foul of that in a school im designing atm...which (i believe) is replacing the one J11sey went to

This situation really is stupid tbh.
20 years ago in my teens (and im not joking) I knew a black bloke called Delroy. He was, and still is, a top bloke...he's always been a massive dude...i used to play with him arm wrestling then...back then the greeting used to be:-
Me: Hey Del you big black bastard, how you doing mate?
Him: Fine mate, how you doing you white skinny white bastard?
Just banter after all

I'm the same with a couple of afro carribean lads I go drinking with, I could call them anything and they'd just laugh and joke back.

Its a legal requirement to make reasonable adjustments to accomodate disabled people. Its not, however, illegal to leave the house alone and you may do this

i never said it was illegal
i was merely stating that a BLIND person is unlikely to be in the street, in a wheelchair alone.... therefore there is no real need for the bumps which took 3 men a whole day to put down
3 men, 50 quid a day, plus materials... thats probably about 250 quid completely wasted
no one moaned about the lack of bumps near the curb ten-fifteen years ago.
