Just emailed a pic of the Glanza to a mate (who isn't really into cars at all - he did the old "wtf is that?")

His exact reply was:

"that glanza thing looks like a corsa gone wrong"

ye glanzas are fair crap looking, so if your not after spending any money and not tune it i wouldnt bother cos standard theyre not all that really. so ul be driving a crap looking car with pretty average speed

if i was you and wanted a standard car id go for a GTi, in yellow

similar speed to a glanza aswell i think standard and look so much nicer imo

Seems like the 106gti is the "good all-rounder" then.

get one that's already half done up though - at least lowered. they look crap before they're lowered.

don't be silly all gti's will have been thrashed - that's what they were made for, and thats what they can take.

I'd be more worried about buying a un-lowered gti from a woman, who probably never bothered checking things like oil.

than buying a lowered gti like mine was standard from someone who obviously cared a lot for his car and looked after it.

Yellow one is nice - but bargains to be had

http://www.saxosportsclub.com/forum/SEURLF/ASP/SFS/THREADID.295072/FORUMID.10/SFE/posts.htm

1998 - Black 106 GTi, already lowered, got exhaust and leather interior.

£2200 ono. So could get it for £2000 or less!
