Arsenal for Torres though
Torres i rate highly... are you a gunner ? I totally respect their methods of brewing the young... reminds me of the Beckham, Neville & Scholes era !

Yesh, I would love to see Torres in one way but I can't see us signing him unless Henry goes

Yes, Cisse is absolute turd IMO, needs out from the scouse massive >> Ballack... i dunno, i think he will be excellent next season, im very dissapointed United did not land him in January, im a big fan
Cisse has had a great end to the season, and if he had been played in his position (ie not on the wing) and we played to his strengths (ie not high balls and crosses) then we would see the real Cisse. Plus 17 goals in 24 starts is not a bad ratio.

i reckon if Benitez buys a right winger and a 20 - 25 goal a season striker then Liverpool will challenge chelsea all the way next season.
Lampard, Ballack & Makalele against sissoko, Alonso & gerrard
Chelsea
Lampard - good going forward but not backwards, scores alot of goals
Ballack - world class midfielder but 29 years old
Makalele - 30+ very defensive, does not attack
Liverpool
Sissoko - Young, can attack and defend
Alonso - Probably the best passer in the Prem, can attack and defend
Gerrard - enough said, can attack, defend, pass, cross, tackle, motivate and score important goals
Would be a good battle when they play each other, i wonder how many times next season??

So what if Ballack is 29 years old.....why are people saying hes not that good. Have any of you even watched any of his performances this season?
His performances have been above that of Frank Lampard and he's been on par with Gerrard.

There cant be a question about who has the best midfield, Alonso, Gerrard and Sissoko easily win that, even in my biased opinion! The new winger we've already signed (Gonzalez) has looked amazing on loan in Spain even though he has only been fit since Feb and is amazingly fast.
I think Rafa will look to sign a right sided player too, possibly someone like Joaquin who has said he wants to come to Liverpool in the past. Or maybe SWP if he does become available (I highly doubt it to us)

Im in tears here over that comment. Not just that Ballack is better than those two, but Lampard is as good as Gerrard. Ballack is the worst of the three.

If he can sign Joaquin that would be a hell of a signing!!!
I can see them challenging with him and another striker!

I will happily pay the fuel in my turbo to drive down to see them play IMO i do pretty well !

I don;t need to wait a season, I've watched him play most of this season
He scored 16 goals from 37 appearances for BM and 7 goals from 11 internationals in 2005.
I think he's on par with them as he carries his team.
